Ad Submission

Acceptable Media:

Ads may be sent on CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs, DVD+R, and DVD+RW are acceptable, but they must be burned as Macintosh compatible.

Note: Please zip file or folder before uploading to the FTP site.

Uploading Files to FTP Site

• Go to ftp.barkleigh.com to upload your ad.
• When uploading, drag and drop your zipped file into the Folder of the magazine desired.
• Open the Month Folder for the Issue of your desired ad.
• Attach a low res Jpeg file to compare to the FTP file to check for omissions and missed fonts, etc.
• After upload is complete, email Lucas Colton at to confirm that the ad is uploaded.

For Macintosh Users:

• Images and ads must be at 300 DPI
• Fonts (screen fonts and printer fonts) must be included
• Accepted formats are PDF, TIFF, or EPS
• High resolution (300 DPI) PDFs with embedded fonts and graphics
• Microsoft Word and Publisher Files are NOT accepted

For PC Users:

• All images and ads must be at 300 DPI
• Accepted file formats are PDF, TIFF, or EPS
• JPEG files ARE NOT recommended and advertisers assume all risks for reproduction of JPEG files
• Microsoft Word and Publisher Files are NOT accepted

NOT ACCEPTABLE:

• Microsoft Word files
• Publisher Files
• Negatives

For Accurate Color Matching:

• All Colors must be in CMYK or PMS format.
• RGB is NOT acceptable and may result in additional charges
• A printed proof MUST be sent to assure correct reproduction.

Barkleigh Productions will not be responsible for color matching, quality or content of electronic files. Although accurate color matching is our goal, we cannot promise perfect matches or file compatibility.
