Steven Appelbaum

Steve started his first dog training business hanging flyers in supermarket billboards. That company grew in fifteen years to the largest of its kind in North America, with trainers in forty plus states and five Canadian provinces. He is currently the President of Animal Behavior College, a school dedicated to training the next generation of dog trainers. Steve is a featured columnist in Off Lead magazine and has written articles for Pet Business and Pet Product News. He does consulting in the pet industry and his first book, the ABC Practical Guide to Dog Training (Howell 2003) was published in December.
